macOS Sierra system requirements and devices that are compatible with it

Previous rumors indicated that Apple has changed the name of your desktop system with a Mac and a shift from OS X to macOS, but it is clear that the company did not change the named only but has introduced a lot of changes on the new system.

The new version, called macOS Sierra was announced at Apple's WWDC conference and announced that Vice President of Software Engineering Craig Federighi the company's hardware requirements to run the new version macOS Sierra.
If you want to run macOS Sierra system will need to MacBook hardware version 2009 or better, or Mac Bo Iyer or MacBook Pro version in 2010, or any version beyond.
If you have an iMac your device should possess version 2009 or later, but for devices Mac Mini or Mac Pro should be a hardware issue in 2010 or later, and unfortunately these are devices that are compatible only with the new system.

It is expected to issue a new version of Apple macOS Sierra this fall, and will be a free update for all, and will be bringing Siri to the desktop, as well as Continuity feature to connect your Mac with iOS.
MacOS through the new system will be able to open your Mac through other Apple devices such as Apple Watch or iOS devices, you can also use Universal Clipboard feature that lets you copy and paste from one device to another with ease.
